WSOP Poker Hall of Fame nominees
Customary, the main event conclusion is celebrated by inducting new member/s to the poker hall of fame. However, prior to the announcement, qualified players or poker personalities are first shortlisted. Then the nominees are considered by 32 living poker hall of famers to determine the most eligible Hall-of-Famer. However, the 32-member panel is not required to reach a concession. Instead, it’s put up to a vote. The finalist with the most votes is indicted to the Poker Hall of Fame.

The induction ceremony

According to WSOP, all living Poker Hall of Famers has been invited to freeroll into the $1,979 No-limit Hold’em tournament. However, the tournament will not be exclusive to Poker Hall of Fame members, other players can enter.
To make the event more memorable, all participating hall of famers will have a bounty similar or alluding to the year when they were inducted. For instance, if Phil Hellmuth participates and you happen to eliminate him, you will stand to win an additional $2007 which corresponds to the year when he was inducted into the poker hall of Fame, 2007.
