The Battle of the Malta Online at GGPoker enters its final stages with five featured events remaining. All eyes are on the €2,500,000 guaranteed Main event scheduled on Sunday, July 31st. “Runnerx2” is more likely to enter into the €555 Battle of Malta Online Main Event after winning the biggest prize so far.
“Runnerx2” won Event #11 €550 Grand Harbour Superstack and received a huge sum of €105,113. This event attracted 1,428 entries, creating a prize pool of €746,130. This prize pool was distributed among the top 206 finishers, and the minimum amount paid was around €952.

The first payout of the final table went to Israel’s Mooshtako, who received €10,566 for his ninth place. Gabriel “gtavares10” Costa from Brazil went home with €14,090 for his eighth position, while “MegaLowBoy” cashed €18,790 for his seventh-place finish.
Sixth place favored the Austrian player Daniel “Tourmination” Petersen, who went home with €25,057. After that, the Uruguayan pro-Santiago “La Papualda” Varela ran out of steam and cashed €33,414 for his fifth place showing. Next to fall was Brazilian sensation Brunno Botteon, who secured the fourth position for €44,559. The Estonian player, Karl “HotBoy19” Mets play finished in third place for a prize of €59,421. After his elimination, the heads-up play started between the final two. After a while, Runnerx2 dominated the Sihao “Mr_3rdBullet” Zhang to claim the title and the biggest prize. Sihao “Mr_3rdBullet” Zhang received €79,239 for his runner-up finish.

Although Runnersx2 cashed the largest prize, Kasper Klezys came close in numbers by winning Event #12: Siege of Malta Bounty Millions for €81,977. Klezys made his way to the top from more than 13,000 entries.
