An excess of $3.5 million will be up for grabs during the Borgata Spring Poker Open scheduled to begin early next month. Borgata Spring Poker Open Dates
The (BSPO) Borgata Spring Poker Open is scheduled to begin in April 2nd and to end on April 19th. BSPO will consist of 22 events that include two separate events that will each guarantee $1 million in cash prize. There will multiple poker variants during the tournament some of which include Pot Limit Omaha, H.O.S.E., Omaha Hi/Lo, and No-limit Hold’em. These games will be played in the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s poker room.
The events with over $1 million cash prize guarantee include the Spring Poker Open Championship and the Deepstack Kick-Off. The Deepstack Kick-Off will take place in the BSPO tournament’s opening days (April 2nd to April 6th).
According to a press statement, the final table of Borgata Spring Poker Open Championship will be live-streamed. The live stream format is set to be announced on a later date. The BSPO tournament will also be hosting other tournaments.
Tournament events
There will be 22 tournaments at the BSPO, and they will have buy-ins that range from $180 to $2700. Players will have the opportunity to get into various bounty tournaments or assorted events. Besides, there will be a ladies’ event and a seniors’ event.
Other events include The Almighty Stack; running from April 9th to April 12th. The Almighty Stack will have a $500,000 cash prize money guarantee and a $450 buy-in. The Saturday Series Event will be running between April 6th to April 12th and has a $400 buy-in. The Saturday Series Events has a $100,000 cash prize money guarantee.
Another poker event at the Borgata Spring Poker Open will be the Black Chip Deepstack Bounty that will take place on April 5th. The Black Chip Deepstack Bounty will have a $100,000 cash prize money guarantee, but it will have a $500 buy-in.
Online participation
Poker players in the state of New Jersey will be able to participate in BSPO championship online via BorgataPoker.com from March 15th to April 15th. There will be multiple prizes available including a guaranteed seat in the Deepstack Kick-Off event which will offer players with a chance to win a seat in the Spring Poker Open Championship.
The qualifiers of some of the tournaments available at BSPO have buy-ins going as low as $5.
