Andrew Robl’s Early Life
From Okemos, Michigan, during his teen years, Andrew Robl was already an enthusiast for a myriad of strategy games including Halo and Warcraft. He caught the poker bug at 17 soon after watching WSOP with his father. However, his online poker career started after he turned 18.
In just a short while, Robl poker steadily improved thanks to his knack for reading and the TwoPlusTwo Forum. At the age of 19, his was a regular in online tournaments. Fast forward two years, at 21, Robl was already a self-made millionaire.

On the felt, Robl’s performance has been exemplary. In less than a decade, Robl has risen through the ranks, and he is without a doubt one of the best players in existence. During his brief online poker stint, he won a couple of tournaments, winnings thousands in the process. However, he was able to replicate the success in live tournaments. For instance, in 2010, he reached the final table of World Poker Tour (WPT) Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic. He finished second after losing the final had to Antonio Esfandiari. He took home roughly $550,000.
He posted another impressive result in 2012. He was a runner up in WPT World Championship. He won a hefty $822,375.
In 2013, he finally managed to reach and win the final table of Aussie Millions $100,000 challenge. He earned a whopping $1,055,699-his best live cash win to date.
Also, between 2015 and 2017, he has won a couple of several high-roller events. For example, he finished in the money in 2017 WSOP $111,111 High Roller for One Drop event. He finished 8th, and Doug Polk won the event. He pocketed $388,000.
Also, in 2018, he finished fourth in $ 10,000 + 500 No Limit Hold’em – Short Deck (Event #4) for $55,000.
